High Security

Our office is very secure. If you want to come in you have to use an access card to get through several layers of secure doors before arriving inside the actual offices. It is this way because several times throughout history, anchors have been held hostage by crazies who walk onto the set during the news with a gun. It is clearly a good idea to have security at the station. There is one part of this system that I just don't understand.

In order to use the ladies restroom you have to enter a secret code. I really have no idea why, but it's true. The problem is the keypad is old -- and sometimes it doesn't work. So, there you are trying to get to the restroom (for obvious reasons), and you enter the code, and then nothing happens. Then, you have to wait for the keypad to reset before trying your luck at the code, again. I'm surprise no one has had an accident yet. The code is 1-3-5, in case you ever need it.
