Whataweekend

AP and I had an action packed weekend (as you can see by the picture). We got to spend some time with each other, and with friends, and with family. Whew, it was a busy weekend.

On Friday night we went to see Mission Impossible III with Brian and Kate. It was a fun night. The most exciting part of the movie (no spoiler ahead) was when Kate and I were dropped off in the Newport parking garage by AP (who kept the car rolling) and jetted up several flights of stairs, to the auto-ticket booth, purchased tickets with our super sophisticated plastic purchasing devices, and turned around just in time to see the rest of our team running into the lobby (AP and Brian). The four of us darted up the escalator (where our plan was almost foiled by some non-moving bystanders) and into the theater just in time for the first preview. Mission Accomplished.

Saturday AP and I slept in until 10AM ... I can't remember the last time we did that. We had a lazy day until 3PM when we got together with our GO Group (travel team from SA Adventure), and then onto a surprise birthday dinner in West Chester (Canada for us Oakleyites). Jags ... man if there was ever a reason to drive up there, it's the steak at Jags. Happy Birthday Alli.

Sunday was a day of pomp and circumstance (literally). We attended AP's little brother's graduation from college. The best part was hanging out with the family in the stands for the duration of the ceremony. The worst part was it took 3 hours for 400 students to graduate. That was rough. We headed to Outback with the family afterwards for a Mother's Day/Graduation celebration. Fantastic.

Sunday night -- DH and GA with friends. Izzy, don't do it! Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!
(to be continued tonight)

And here we are, Monday morning. My work e-mail is down. Can't send or receive. Oh well ... lunch!

This is crap! Andrew was at my house the weekend before and said that you guys were going to see MI3. He said you 2 were going out of town the weekend before this one, so wait and we can see it together when you guys get back (his words, not mine). Amy and I went to the theater, and bought tickets. We waited and waited, but finally had to go into the movie. The way I see it, you owe me $18. A check is fine but please send me a copy of two forms of ID. Also, we went to Dairy Queen afterwards for some Brazier Burgers and Dilly Bars. We did not order anything for you and Andrew. But it was good.
