First Days of Work

I started my new job on Wednesday. Today, I write to you from the comfort of my home computer, because I have Fridays off. Oh, that is so wonderful. Today I have done many things that we usually cram into Sunday afternoons or some weeknight. It is very refreshing.

Oh, anyway ... back to work news. The job is almost exactly like I pictured it. Lots of meetings with different people and volunteers, creating lessons and schedules, and a short commute with shorter hours than I am used to. It is quite a change from my super high pressure job before. For the next two weeks my boss is out of town, and I'll be investigating all aspects of my teams and projects. It will be great.

In other news, over the long weekend we were at a friends' house on Norris Lake wakeboarding, but the cable from camera to computer seems to have run away. I'll post those when I can.
