I Love College Football

I do. I love it. It may be the single biggest reason that I went to Texas A&M. I went to a football game there, and I was sold. Not exactly a good reason to pick a school, I understand that. But, I do love college football.

Tomorrow I am going to be attending the biggest college football game in the history of the sport. Ohio State vs. Michigan. It's insane. These too rivals have never met while ranked #1 and #2 in the country, our tickets could have been sold for $5k, and I am committed to being a freaking crazy maniac of a fan at the game tomorrow. I mean it ... freaking CRaZy!

All of the drama of the big game could not have been enhanced anymore than this afternoon when it was announced that Michigan's beloved father of football, Bo Schembechler died today. Seriously? Today? Yep, today. I think that it's a hoax. The guy may have been dead for 3 weeks, and they picked today to announce it to give the team one last crazy jolt of emotional energy. This game is that big.

To top it off, I'll be attending the game with three of the craziest Ohio State fans I know: AP, OSU Brett, and Bill. I call Brett OSU Brett because he is NEVER without an Ohio State piece of flare. In fact, usually he has on 5 or 6 items with the school logo. Always.

AP's
childhood bedroom still has OSU wallpaper including a light switch that says, "Ohio State turns me on. Michigan turns me off." I can't even believe that his mom let him have that. Maybe she doesn't know what it means.

Bill has two degrees from OSU, and is AP's partner in crime when cursing Brent Muthlesburger on the television every fall. "Shut up Muthlesburger." That's as angry as I have ever seen Bill.

Well, I better get some rest for the big game.

GO BUCS!!!
