HELO WORLD

So, I'm back. It's a new year, and I finially find myself settled from the maddness of life long enough to write Shine On. Sweet. I have several topics to "speak" on.

1. I know that you are all wondering. What was the final Chipotle count? Well, my friends it was quite a showing. 97. Yep, that's the final number. I am currently compiling my brief to Chipotle corperate in a shameless attempt to become somewhat famous as their spokes chick. My brief to the sultins of burrito will be both informative and (you guessed it) funny. I am open to any input you may have. Things like "Carnitas is the best" really won't help. However the confusion of what to call each salsa will. See, constructive, yet complimentary to their wide aray of salsa spendor. Please post your comments in a timely fashion. I think my report should be ready for submission in the next few days. Any pictures you have of Chipotle experiences would also be helpful.

2. The return to Africa. Peeps, this is an open invitation to change your life forever. The 'roads is opening the Mamelodi trip to anyone this year. I mean it. Let me know if you are serious.

3. I would like to blog at a more steady pace. Any tips from other bloggers? Do you just make yourself write every few days? Do you come up with a project like the Church Hoppers? What could keep it going?

4. I should save some of this material for furture posts.

I usually just call the salsas, mild, medium corn, medium green, and too-stinking-hot-for-amy-to-ever-even-think-of-trying,hot.

I am quite proud of the overall count. I actually thought about that last time I went there.

I am sure they will at least send you one of their funny t-shirts.

My new fave is crispy tacos. You don't get as full, and the shells are dee-lish. I also love carnitas. Who would have thought pulled pork could be that tasty without barbeque sauce.....

Princess,
You've got to tinclude the "guess what my meal that I always get will cost today" game. Also, I am annoyed that they always put a burrito in the warmer, then when I order soft tacos they pull the burrito out and throw it away! Wasteful! Also, you should probably consider linking to your husband's blog. It's not as funny as yours, but it tries to be.

I ate Chipotle while wearing a Nacho Libre costume around Halloween. The girls working behind the counter were literally on the floor laughing. Not sure how that relates to your letter, but I figured it was worth mentioning. If you have never seen the Nacho Libre, visit...

97 is so impressive. great work. I think the Jared parallel is very clever (I was skinny, and I'm still skinny 97 burritos later..)

The song must be included. It's so catchy, my family now sings the remix version (which we can record for you if needed.)

I like hearing about all the conversations you have with people about their chipotle experiences. It's amazing how much people like to talk about chipotle.

I'd also address the fact that you didn't have a goal. Like, when I see 97, I somehow (in my twisted mind) think, she was so close, why didn't she go for 100? But I know that wasn't your intention, and I just think it's interesting and worth mentioning.

And what are you plans for next year? Will you keep counting, start over, what?

Again, very impressive and entertaining. Krissy
