Today I was reading over my blog posts from June/July 2007. While I was reading over the account of that trip, I found this post. I haven't ever told anyone what I asked those boys to pray for me that day, until now. I asked them to pray that I would have a child like them. They asked if I had any children, I said "no".
"Okay, okay." they replied and took off praying. I am sure that they prayed for me to have a child, and now we are just a few months away from meeting the answer to their prayer -- I still pray that she's like them. I pray that she has their joy, passion, and enthusiasm for going to God on the behalf of others. amen.
