Then, we got her all dressed for the pool. Check out the giraffe bathing suit. Cana loves all things African.
Then, I gave her a little pep talk because the adventure was about to begin!
We went swimming. It was Cana's first time in the pool, and she had some happy and some sad times. All in all, she was a major trooper, and by the end of the week she'll be floating on her back. Really, she will be -- I'm not kidding about that at all. Babies are GOOD swimmers if the adult holding them is well trained.
Since the little bit was sound asleep after all of that swimming, we took her down to the beach for the morning. It was a perfect time to take baby. Pretty cool and cloudy.

Yay! Looks like fun! We leave for our vaca tomorrow morning at 4:00 am! (We have to drive to Louisville and be ready to fly out at 7. SHOOF!)
