Skyline ...

In Cincinnati, they eat their chili on spaghetti. Strange, but true. There are two main propagators of said chili on spaghetti, Skyline and Gold Star. Most Cincinnatians are a fan of one or the other, but rarely both. I have to admit that it wasn't love at first bite for me. In Texas you measure the worth of chili by how many layers of skin it takes off your tongue, and how clear your sinuses are after a spoonful. Here, you measure it's worth by how much Cheddar cheese you can stack on a pile of spaghetti and chili. It's called a Three Way.

They have different promotions at Skyline (my personal preference) throughout the year. My favorite is habenero cheese, where you can get chili back to what it should be -- really hot! They call that an Extreme Way.

Right now the promotion is absolutely absurd. It's called a Sky Way. 50% more cheese than the usual mountain. Really? Do you really need that?
