Food for the Hungry (hold the red tape)
This kid makes me so happy. It makes me happy to know that some care packages that the kids that I work with each week are on their way to the other side of the world to be given to kids that were rescued from slavery. Yes, slavery in the world today. It makes me think that the next generation will bring powerful, dynamic change. I can't wait to be a mom.

There was a 10 year old girl on Ellen today that has raised over $200,000 for charity by selling bracelets she made. I didn't get to see the interview, just heard about it, but I was feeling the same way. The amazing Ryan's Well Foundation was also started by a child in Canada. These kids have a pure approach - no other agenda than the task at hand. Maybe that is the key to their success. Awesome.
A friend the other day was telling me about a fundraiser her daughter did for Hurricane Katrina last year. She was 10. Amazing. There was also a kid in CSM who did a lemonade stand for Katrina relief and made a lot of money. Kids are cool.
