We love being on the boat because it is uninterrupted quality time. Your mind doesn't think about the dishes or laundry or work in the middle of the lake. And, when you add good friends into the mix it gets even better. Our friends Brett, Krissy, and Kate came down to the lake last night and we spent the day hanging out on the boat together.
Kate and Cana (who are 20 days apart) even bonded over shopping. They got these super cute rash guards (that's an official name for cool surfer-style SPF 50 shirts). AP was grinning from ear to ear when we put her in it. She's an official water baby in his eyes now.
Last year during our lake vacation here we were with Bret and Krissy praying for babies. This year we are hanging out with the answers to those prayers. Sweet.
