My life long friend Ashley came to visit Cincinnati today. She brought her adorable little 5 month old Addie with her. We had a blast, catching up in person for the first time in about 2 years.
I took Ashley and Addie to lunch at Dewey's, then to the Newport Aquarium, the Blue Manatee Children's book store, and later to J.Alexanders for dinner. Not a bad afternoon at all.
My question to you fellow dwellers of the city of Cincinnati is WHERE DO YOU TAKE PEOPLE FROM OUT OF TOWN TO "SHOW THEM CINCINNATI"? When I had to decide on the spot, I kind of froze up.

Rachel - I love to take people to the Krone Conservatory in Eden Park (http://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/cityparks/pages/-7694-/). It is a lovely place to spend a few hours and then either go for lunch or dinner in Mt. Adams.
I also take folks to Findlay Market and/or Jungle Jim's -- especially if they are in town on a Saturday.
Have a great time with your friend!

Findlay Market
Carew Tower overlook (50th floor!)
Museum Center (Union Terminal)
Fountain Square and a walk around downtown
Graeter's
Skyline Chili
yum.
I would add Mt. Adams for dinner to these fine suggestions. Hope you and your friend had a great visit!
